Jontay Brown

Jontay Brown stands out as one of the few talented professional models I had the pleasure of working with. My singular aim for this photoshoot was to learn the manipulation of light to make mysterious and elegant photos. Weeks before meeting Jontay, I immersed myself in experimenting with light and how it interacts with my camera. I made many rigs and cutouts in preparation. I used various colors of light and intricate patterns to reveal different features of his face. The placement of his hands, delicately framing his face, leaves the viewer intrigued and curious. My light manipulation was successful, resulting in hundreds of photos I am extremely happy with.
